If you’ve ever hung a piece of art on your walls (which I do hope you have!) you’re aware that having the artwork framed is NOT cheap. So why have someone frame it, when I could just do it myself? Before you knew it I had a mat cutter in hand, and I’ve never looked back.
So here’s the thing about hygge - it doesn’t have a direct translation to English. It’s really a cultural idea that describes a feeling of comfort, coziness, and contentedness all in one. My idea of hygge is curling up on the couch with a nice warm blanket after a long day on skis, but yours can be different.
